CLEANSER

LOVE

Neutrogena Ultra Gentle foaming daily cleanser
$9.00 (12 oz)

ANGELICA : This is the cleanser I use on a daily basis. It’s free of all harsh chemicals but still produces a light foam that you crave from a cleanser. It’s formulated for sensitive skin, so it may not be abrasive enough for those with excessive oil or breakouts.

LUST

The Body Shop Aloe Calming Facial Cleanser
$14.50 (6.75 oz)

TAYLOR : I started using this product after years of using chemical-based treatments for my acne. It almost feels like you’re putting on lotion, instead of face-wash. I have gotten so used to the slight sting that comes with most cleansers that using this product felt foreign to me. I personally like feeling that sting because it helps me identify my most troubled areas. But on the days when my skin is feeling extremely sore and irritated, I welcome a cool, stress-free cleanse. This is accomplished by using Aloe Vera. Aloe Vera doesn’t just treat sunburn—it helps treat dry, irritated skin. Now, we’re not saying to go buy a bottle of 100% Aloe Vera gel and use it as a moisturizer, but if your skin is easily irritated or prone to redness, try to find a product in which Aloe Vera is an active ingredient. This product is very gentle and works best with sensitive skin. It has almost no scent. When you use it, you won’t feel that tingle or sting you might feel with other cleansers.
