BACHATA IN BALMAIN

Alongside having a diversity problem, the fashion industry needs a major attitude adjustment. Fans have become all too used to melancholy and sadness being in style—and it's an effect of being in the fashion industry that stylist and fashion editor Gerardo Carrillo wants to shake up.
For fun, Carilllo began mashing up his favorite fashion film campaigns with remixed upbeat and danceable Latin music tracks to prove his point that he believes fashion should be more fun.
According to Carrillo, "Fashion needs more soul, heat and joy" and his mini mashups are just the dosage to send out into the fashion scopes of the internet.
