TAYLOR : Tea tree oil extract works like nothing I’ve ever experienced. Their spot treatment began working for me almost immediately, reducing redness and inflammation in my t-zone. According to the company’s website, the organic oil is extracted from the leaves of the Melaleuca alternifolia, or “tea tree plants”, which grow in the foothills of Mount Kenya. After the leaves are picked by hand, they are steam-distilled to release the oil.
