TIMELESS TAKES
/We're always taught going through life the importance of "the classics" when it comes to fashion and beauty–no matter how much we think we love our high-waisted shorts, drop-waist pants and dip-dyed hair–a red lip, simple black dress and a liquid lined cat-eye will always prevail. For CIRCUS' "ICON" theme for the month of September, we wanted to celebrate style icons of beauty's past whose signature looks still stand the test of time over half a century later. Our prime examples? The forever elegance of America's Princess, Grace Kelly (with her soft, flouncy golden curls and svelte silhouette) and her equally stunning counterpart Brigitte Bardot (France's national mistress who stole hearts on the screen with her "just-been-up-to-no-good" ruffled locks and ability to make whatever she was wearing–mini-dress, pantsuit, fully buttoned blouse, potato sack–seriously sexy.
