FORTUNATE FASHION : Violet & Klaus Baudelaire

Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events is possibly one of the most memorable book series from the last 15 years. The 13-book series followed the troubled and turbulent lives of Violet, Klaus, and Sunny Baudelaire after their parents' death in a horrible house fire.

When the film adaption of the series was released in 2004, I was so happy to see all of these unique and eccentric characters come to life. Everything and everyone in the movie met or exceeded my expectations. The scenery and costumes were just as eerie and mysterious as the plot. Seeing the Baudelaire children trying to outwit the cruel and mischievous Count Olaf on-screen was definitely entertaining and captivating.

Throughout the whole movie, I was constantly drawn to Violet and Klaus’s wardrobe. Their clothes were simple yet intricate and have served as my recent style inspiration. Below are pieces for women and men that I definitely think Violet and Klaus would be wearing if they were real and living in modern times.
